This is my place. It’s a place to vent, get it off your chest, unburden yourself and be heard. I will respond to your vent session if you want me to. Or I will just hear you out and let you say whatever it is you need to say without interjection or judgement. I’m here to be whichever of those you need most right now.
I’ve always said – when you have a problem in life, the only way to get past it is to go through it. You can’t go over it, you can’t go around it, and you can’t go under it. You have to go through it. I’m good at helping people clear the fog that gathers when you are in the thick of a situation that you can’t see past. I might be able to help you see the problem for what it really is, so that passage through it doesn’t seem so daunting.
I minored in psychology, so I am not a licensed therapist. What I am is a very good listener, and someone who genuinely wants to help. I won’t promise to right all the wrongs of the world, but I will do whatever I can to help you make a step in the right direction. And hopefully through venting that which plagues your mind and stifles your progress, we can find a way that works best for you.
If you wish for me to comment, I may ask you some more details about what it is you’re going through. I can usually help give you some perspective, but the rest is up to you. Some of the road blocks people experience stem from how open one is to considering things from another viewpoint. I recommend that you ask yourself some important questions to make yourself more accepting of answers that will flow your way. For instance, can you comprehend that sometimes the things that happen in life happen as a direct result of decisions we make and actions we take? Are you willing to evaluate how much ownership you yourself have in these problems? None of these things make you a bad person, nor do they mean that you deserve whatever happens to you. Sometimes it just means that you have to look at the problem differently. Because if you do, you might find that the solution to them is much easier than you imagined. Sometimes it only takes a step to understand the bigger picture.
